NETWORK & SYSTEMS PORTFOLIO
I am a network and systems professional developing hands-on experience across infrastructure, security, automation, and homelab operations.
01 / ABOUT
Neoxix is both my technical portfolio and a developing institutional platform for thoughtful infrastructure work.
My work centres on learning by building: configuring systems, documenting decisions, testing expected behaviour, and diagnosing what does not work. Each project represents current hands-on experience or a clearly labelled learning objective.
I am building toward junior roles where methodical troubleshooting, reliable documentation, and a strong foundation across networks and systems create immediate value.
02 / CORE COMPETENCIES
Current experience developed through study, hands-on labs, and documented personal projects.
Building and troubleshooting routed and switched lab environments with careful documentation and validation.
Administering Windows and Linux systems in a controlled lab, with attention to reliable services and repeatable operations.
Applying foundational hardening, segmentation, access-control, and diagnostic practices to lab infrastructure.
Learning to make infrastructure tasks more consistent through code, scripts, version control, and reusable examples.
03 / SELECTED PROJECTS
A selection of practical work, shown with transparent status and scope.
A personal environment for testing network services, virtualization, system administration, and security controls without overstating production use.
Repeatable platform for structured technical practice
A focused remote-access VPN lab in which remote access from an iPad over a cellular connection to authorized internal resources has been validated.
Validated remote access to authorized internal resources
Small, version-controlled infrastructure examples built to practise declarative configuration, reviewable changes, and reusable patterns.
Growing collection of documented learning examples
A PowerShell automation module for PowerShell 5.1 and PowerShell 7+, with structured logging, Pester tests, PSScriptAnalyzer, build automation, and Windows/Linux CI.
Module development and validation remain in progress
04 / HOMELAB OVERVIEW
The Neoxix Homelab supports practical exploration across the infrastructure stack. It is a personal learning environment—not a claim of production-scale operations.
Deployed and improvingAdministrative workstations and test clients
Routing, switching, segmentation, and firewall labs
Virtualized Windows and Linux workloads
Identity, name resolution, addressing, and monitoring practice
05 / LEARNING ROADMAP
Training and certification goals are reported as goals until they are completed and verified.
Current focus
Strengthening networking fundamentals through structured study, labs, and troubleshooting practice. No certification is claimed.
Next step
Planned after the current CCNA preparation phase to deepen firewall and network security knowledge.
Continuous
Continuing practical work with Windows, Linux, scripting, version control, and infrastructure as code.
06 / CONTACT
